Do you know this horse

I am wanting to trace my mares brand. Do you recognise it? It is a - over ( ) on the near side and what looks like a | over C on the off side. She is around 16 so I'm guessing she was born around 1992 give or take a few years as I don't know her exact age.

Are you sure the l over C on the off side aren't numbers? If she's a tbred she should have a set of numbers that will tell you how old she is. Dunno much about any other brandings LOL

Hm they don't do they..could be anything! Is she tbred? Maybe if she is 16 her brand has gone funny, i know horses get sort of unreadble brands sometimes...

I don't think shes a TB. She was sold to me as a Arab QH.

Is it possibe she could be a purebred QH?
with the brands, its possible some one could have messed with them at a younger age

I guess it is possible. I think she looks like she has arab in her. I really don't know.

Yea, you can call up the Arab society, they have alot of info in purebreds and crossbreds, im not sure if it costs anything tho, but its worth a try, the RSPCA traced a brand back to the breeder of a 25yrold horse and finally found who owned her when she was dumped

Yeah I saw that too. Wasn't it sad . I have already contacted the arab society and sent them pictures. Hopefully they will come up with something.

Fingers crossed, and the bay mare from the show, HAS A HOME!!!! iv been keeping an eye on the site, lols.
it turned out, the owners didnt dump her, she was stolen from out of state and dumped near Blacktown in NSW

Oh that's auful. I'm glad she's doing better now.
